Beijing, August 14: Chinese Premier Li Qiang has recently signed orders from the State Council. This includes amendments to certain administrative regulations, which will take effect on August 15.
To ensure the effective implementation of China’s ecological environment legal code, the State Council reviewed and organized relevant administrative rules. This aims to maintain logical consistency and regulatory coordination within the ecological legal framework.
Based on this review, the State Council decided to amend provisions in 12 administrative regulations and to repeal 3 others.
Reportedly, amendments were made to regulations related to pollution source census and ecological environment monitoring. Any topics inconsistent with the ecological environment legal code will be revised according to its provisions.
Additionally, regulations aimed at preventing land-based pollutants from harming the marine environment have been repealed. This is to better meet the new demands for high-quality development and the construction of ecological civilization.
