Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Takes Strong Stance on Land Issues in Public Meeting

Gorakhpur, June 3: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has adopted a firm approach regarding land-related complaints during a recent public meeting. He instructed the District Magistrate (DM) to ensure strict action against any negligence in addressing these complaints. Depending on the severity of the case, suspension actions should be initiated against the concerned officials. Any form of laxity or negligence will not be tolerated.

During his visit to Gorakhpur, CM Adityanath met with citizens at Gorakhnath Temple for the second consecutive day. He listened to their grievances, particularly those related to land issues, where some individuals reported negligence by revenue officials. In response, he directed the DM to take immediate and stringent action.

The Chief Minister assured those seeking financial assistance for medical treatment that the government would provide full support. He stated that Ayushman cards would be issued for eligible individuals, and if further assistance was needed, funds from the discretionary fund would be made available. He emphasized that all eligible individuals must have their Ayushman cards prepared to avoid any inconvenience in accessing medical care.

During the public meeting held outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan in Gorakhpur, CM Yogi interacted with around 150 people. He listened to their issues and reviewed their petitions, assuring them that there was no need for anyone to feel distressed as the government stands with every needy individual.

One woman complained about being evicted from her home. The Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure that she regains possession of her property. He referred various cases to the relevant administrative and police officers, directing them to resolve all issues in a timely, fair, and satisfactory manner.

In another instance, a woman requested assistance for her mother’s medical treatment. Upon learning that she did not possess an Ayushman card, the CM ordered the officials present to expedite the issuance of the card. He reiterated that all necessary Ayushman cards should be prepared to prevent any difficulties in obtaining treatment. For those seeking financial aid for serious illnesses, the Chief Minister assured them that support would be provided from the discretionary fund.
