Hyderabad, June 12: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai engaged with investors and industry representatives in Hyderabad on Friday as part of the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect initiative. He stated that the increasing flow of investments in Chhattisgarh indicates that the state is ready for a new phase of development.
CM Sai mentioned that officials presented the state’s new industrial policy during the event. He highlighted Chhattisgarh’s central location in the country and its rich mineral resources. “We invite you to understand our new industrial policy and consider investing in Chhattisgarh. It is a matter of pride that today, an MoU worth approximately ₹9,580 crore has been signed, which will create around 7,800 jobs,” he said.
This surge in investment reflects Chhattisgarh’s growing industrial capacity, investor-friendly environment, and the visionary policies of a well-governed state. “I am confident that these investment proposals will accelerate Chhattisgarh’s development journey, ushering in new chapters of employment, industry, and prosperity,” he added.
He also noted that under the new industrial policy, nearly ₹8 lakh crore in MoUs have been signed recently, with work already underway on these projects. The policy has led to significant advancements in sectors such as AI, IT, and semiconductors.
“Our resource-rich and industrially vibrant Chhattisgarh is becoming an emerging hub for investment, innovation, and industrial growth, thanks to the policies of our well-governed government,” he stated. The new investment proposals received at the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect event will further propel the state’s overall development by expanding industries and creating new job opportunities.
Referring to Bastar, CM Sai remarked that the region has remained underdeveloped for the past 40-50 years due to Naxalism, primarily affecting the tribal community residing there. “The good news is that since the double-engine government came to power, we have succeeded in combating Naxalism. Alongside fighting this issue, we have also initiated development projects,” he concluded.
