Change is Coming to West Bengal: Shardwat Mukherjees Rally Sparks Hope

Kolkata, April 5: As the West Bengal Assembly elections approach, candidates are intensifying their campaigns. In this context, Shardwat Mukherjee, the BJP candidate from Bidhannagar (Salt Lake), held a rally in Karunamayi, attracting a large crowd of supporters.

In an interview, Mukherjee expressed optimism, stating, “The atmosphere here is very positive. The common citizen of Bidhannagar is connecting with us. Doctors and engineers from this area are also supporting us. This time, there will be a change in West Bengal. The BJP will form the government, and development will finally come to Bengal after many years.”

Previously, Mukherjee made headlines by promoting his campaign with fish, emphasizing that Bengalis traditionally start auspicious occasions by buying fish. He noted that people in Bengal consume fish even during Navratri. “All communities here enjoy non-vegetarian food. Food preferences vary for everyone. If we win, we will distribute Hilsa fish, prawns, and other items in the Assembly. We will even cook fish for Mamata Banerjee,” he added.

Meanwhile, TMC candidate Sujit Bose also held a rally in Sukanta Nagar, where he remarked, “The opposition makes various claims against us, but we always choose to ignore them.”

On Sunday, during his campaign in Bhagabanpur, BJP candidate Shantanu Pramanik stated, “Today, the voice for change is resonating across Bengal. We, as BJP members, are connecting with people everywhere.”

From the Chinsurah Assembly constituency, BJP candidate Subir Nag shared, “I have been visiting Chinsurah market for the past 40 years. I come here twice a week. This is my market. There’s no need to go elsewhere. The enthusiasm among all workers and people has increased.”
