Celebrating 12 Years of Modi Government: Spiritual Leaders Praise Development Across India

Ayodhya, May 28: The city of Ayodhya is currently immersed in an atmosphere of devotion and reverence. A large number of devotees are arriving from across the country to visit the Ram Temple and Hanumangarhi. The air is filled with chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” and the temple complex is bustling with visitors. Meanwhile, various reactions are emerging regarding the completion of 12 years of the Modi government. Many view Prime Minister Modi’s tenure as synonymous with development, cultural transformation, and the restoration of religious sites.

Swami NV Swami Ji, the head of the Swaminarayan Temple in Raiganj, stated in an interview that development has occurred in every sector over the past 12 years. He emphasized that this progress is not limited to one area but has had a nationwide impact. Significant advancements have been made in Ayodhya, Kashi, Kedarnath, Ujjain, Somnath, and numerous other pilgrimage sites. He also highlighted a focus on women’s empowerment and rural development.

He noted that efforts have been made to provide electricity, tap water, and basic amenities to every village. New institutions and facilities have been established in education and healthcare. According to Swami NV Swami Ji, the Prime Minister’s tenure has been directed towards public welfare and comprehensive development, with hopes for similar initiatives to continue in the future. He prayed to Lord Ram and other deities for the Prime Minister’s long and successful tenure.

Ayodhya’s Mayor, Girish Pathi Tripathi, also commented on the completion of 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He described this period as historic for the country. He mentioned that many long-standing issues have been resolved during this time. The construction of the Ram Temple was highlighted as a monumental achievement, deeply connected to the faith of millions. The Mayor noted that the country has made significant strides in controlling Naxalism and other internal challenges.

He further stated that India’s economy is rapidly advancing, reaching new heights of development. Major transformations are also visible in religious and historical cities like Ayodhya. He praised the Prime Minister’s leadership and extended congratulations on behalf of the people of Ayodhya, wishing him good health and a long tenure.

On the other hand, a devotee who arrived in Ayodhya with around 700 people from Gujarat shared that their visit to see Ram Lalla and the Ram Temple is not just a religious journey but also an opportunity for spiritual purification and connection to tradition. He emphasized the significance of visiting sacred sites in Sanatan Dharma and expressed the peace and joy he felt in Ayodhya. The devotee noted that the construction of the Ram Temple has further strengthened people’s faith, and their entire group found the experience memorable.
