Patna, April 7: BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy has made bold predictions regarding the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections. He criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, stating that when the ground begins to shift, nonsensical statements often emerge.
During a media interaction in Patna, Rudy asserted that the people of Bengal are ready for change this time around. He drew parallels with the recent Bihar assembly elections, where he claimed that leaders from the RJD attempted to mislead the public on various issues. He noted that the elections were fair, resulting in a significant defeat for the RJD. Rudy believes a similar fate awaits Mamata Banerjee in Bengal.
On the occasion of BJP’s foundation day, Rudy referenced Prime Minister Modi’s remarks, emphasizing that the party is steadily achieving its goals. He highlighted significant changes over the past 11 years, including the abrogation of Article 370 and the ban on triple talaq.
Commenting on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s move to the Rajya Sabha, Rudy stated that Kumar has made his decision. He expressed that Kumar’s oath-taking in the Rajya Sabha would mark the beginning of a new chapter in Bihar, with full support from NDA members.
