Hyderabad, April 14: BJP leader TR Srinivas has reacted to the statements made by Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav regarding the violence involving workers in Noida. In an interview with a news agency on Tuesday, he raised several serious questions about Yadav’s remarks.
Srinivas stated that the questions posed by Yadav concerning intelligence in the context of the Noida violence raise a crucial issue: why did the violence occur? The manner in which the violence unfolded suggests that people were incited as part of a premeditated conspiracy.
He further questioned Yadav’s motives, asking, “What do you aim to achieve by questioning who is behind the Noida violence?” He emphasized that such inquiries are unwarranted at this stage.
Additionally, Srinivas addressed the ongoing Special Intensive Review (SIR) in West Bengal. He referenced Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s comments, asserting that the TMC has attacked all constitutional institutions during its tenure. He expressed concerns about the identification of illegal residents in West Bengal under the SIR, stating that these individuals should not be allowed to vote.
Srinivas remarked that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has maintained her power through illegal activities and illegal voters, but such a situation will no longer be tolerated. He concluded by asserting that the true picture of West Bengal will soon emerge following the special review of the voter list.
