Patna, February 12: The President of Bihar BJP, Sanjay Sarawagi, has expressed concerns regarding the absence of Tejashwi Yadav, the national executive president of the RJD, from the Bihar budget session. He stated that the opposition leader has consistently been absent from the assembly, even during crucial sessions like the budget meeting.

Sarawagi remarked, “The opposition leader has been frequently missing. It seems they have lost interest. The dates for the Chief Minister’s oath-taking were set before the election results were announced. Even during the first session after the government formation, the opposition leader was not present.”

He criticized this trend as detrimental to democratic traditions.

Additionally, Sarawagi highlighted the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram‘, a song written by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay and sung by Rabindranath Tagore. He emphasized that, according to new guidelines from the Home Ministry, all government programs across the country must honor and sing the national song.

He accused some opposition members of opposing standing for ‘Vande Mataram‘.

Regarding the ongoing chaos in the Lok Sabha, the BJP state president targeted the Congress party, stating, “Congress has failed at every level and shows no concern for the common public. The disorder in the Lok Sabha is not suitable for any democratic system.”

Sarawagi alleged that some party members created disturbances around the Speaker‘s chamber and the Prime Minister’s seat, undermining democratic decorum.
