Sanjay Nishad Expresses Satisfaction Over US-Iran Ceasefire, Urges Focus on Development

Lucknow, April 8: Uttar Pradesh Minister Sanjay Nishad has expressed his approval of the recent ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran. He congratulated both nations, stating that although the agreement came late, the world must unite against American dominance.

In a conversation, Minister Nishad emphasized that every country possesses its own democracy and sovereignty, questioning why these should be jeopardized.

He further stated that the international community should intervene constructively, as mutual dependencies among nations are increasing. When conflicts arise, it impacts not only the involved countries but the entire world.

Nishad urged both nations to shift their focus towards development. He noted that fighting does not yield solutions; instead, it causes distress for the people. Dialogue and agreements are the only viable paths to resolution, and countries should prioritize their growth.

He acknowledged that during times of interdependence, price increases can be natural. He cited the example of rising prices during the US-Iran conflict but praised the central government’s initiatives that prevented serious issues for the public. As the availability of goods increases, the government is working to reduce prices.

Nishad criticized previous governments for neglecting to address price hikes, which caused public distress. In contrast, he asserted that the current BJP government is making every effort to alleviate the people’s problems.

Targeting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Nishad claimed that incorrect names have been removed from the voter list through the SIR process. He asserted that peaceful and fair elections are now possible in the state. The public is dissatisfied with the TMC, leading them to consider transferring power to the BJP, a fact that he believes the Mamata government is aware of, prompting them to spread misinformation.
