New Delhi, February 23: BJP MP Manan Kumar Mishra has criticized Congress workers for their actions during the recent AI Summit, stating that while protesting is a form of free expression, it must remain within certain limits. He emphasized that crossing those boundaries and embarrassing the nation on a global stage cannot be justified as freedom of expression. Mishra made these remarks during the AI Summit, condemning the shameful behavior exhibited by some Congress members.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had previously criticized this incident during a program, highlighting how it brought shame to the country. Responding to media inquiries, Mishra noted that the Prime Minister addressed this issue because the entire nation is outraged and saddened by the events.

Mishra described the actions of a few Congress members as extremely embarrassing and alleged that they were incited by Rahul Gandhi. He claimed that this was a deliberate attempt by Gandhi to disrupt such a significant summit, which was under the global spotlight. According to Mishra, this incident was a conspiracy orchestrated by Rahul Gandhi and his party.

The MP pointed out that the AI Summit is a major event taking place in India, bringing joy to the nation and particularly to the youth, who feel a renewed sense of empowerment. He stated that the country is on a path to progress, aiming to become a global leader by 2047. Prime Minister Modi is focusing on technological and scientific advancements, as well as strengthening international relations. In this context, the occurrence of such a disgraceful incident at a world-class event attended by leaders from 20 countries is a matter of national concern, which is why Modi addressed it.

Mishra asserted that regardless of Congress’s defense, the truth remains that freedom of expression does not permit individuals to forget their dignity and embarrass the nation on an international platform. He reiterated that the law and constitution do not allow such behavior. Protests must be conducted within legal boundaries, and this was not a BJP meeting but a globally significant event led by India.
