
Kolkata, March 24: Nitin Naveen, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is on a two-day visit to West Bengal ahead of the upcoming two-phase assembly elections next month. On Tuesday, he conveyed a clear message to the state party unit that the BJP will spare no effort to secure victory this time.
In a statement released by the party on Tuesday evening, it was noted that Nitin Naveen held several high-level strategic meetings with state BJP leaders to strengthen the party’s digital, social, and grassroots outreach.
He also engaged in extensive discussions with the narrative team. Nitin Naveen signaled his intent by convening high-level meetings with the state’s top leaders, central ministers, and senior organizational officials, emphasizing that the BJP is determined to leave no stone unturned for victory.
Meanwhile, a member of the state BJP committee stated that Nitin Naveen’s visit to West Bengal was not limited to a situational review but was part of a well-defined strategy to streamline the party’s election campaign in a highly effective manner.
The committee member further mentioned, “This time, he (Nitin Naveen) will engage not only with the BJP’s key leaders but also with leaders and party workers at various levels to make the election campaign an effective medium against the current state government and the ruling Trinamool Congress.”
He also highlighted that during the series of meetings held throughout the day, the BJP president emphasized enhancing the election campaign’s effectiveness by focusing on booth management, micro-level planning, and local issues.
The state BJP committee member noted, “Special attention is now being given to areas where the BJP previously faced weaknesses.”
According to the committee member, Nitin Naveen’s current visit is part of a comprehensive strategy by the party’s central leadership to intensify electoral activities in West Bengal.
He added, “Following his arrival, political competition in West Bengal is set to become even more interesting. This visit is likely to bring about a shift in the political balance in the state, potentially leading to a new landscape in the upcoming elections.”
