Officials will strictly adhere to the guidelines set by the Election Commission. He stated, “I do not want anyone’s nomination to be canceled. However, if someone has filled their nomination incorrectly, it will be canceled as per the rules.”
The Chief Minister also hinted at upcoming eviction drives in several areas of Barpeta district after the elections. He stressed that the government is fully committed to removing encroachments.
