New Delhi, September 27 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation in the 138th episode of his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, prompting various reactions from BJP leaders.
Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra remarked, “Prime Minister Modi is the only leader in the world who engages with the public every month. In ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ he discusses significant events occurring in small towns and remote villages. He addresses issues of national interest, recalling figures like Mahatma Gandhi and Ashok Singhal today. While the Prime Minister speaks monthly on vital matters, the opposition appears completely rattled, lacking any issues to raise.”
Malhotra further criticized opposition parties, claiming, “They continuously mislead the public with lies. Today, while the Election Commission conducts a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) to ensure citizens are listed on the voter rolls, Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, and Rahul Gandhi are worried about the removal of votes from non-citizens, as their voter base is shrinking.”
Sambit Patra, BJP MP from Puri, shared, “I listened to the 138th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ in the presence of the MLA from Satyabadi and other leaders.”
Tarun Chugh, a member of the Rajya Sabha, expressed delight that today’s episode gained recognition in the ‘World Book of Records.’ He noted that around 40,000 people in Raipur participated in the program alongside saints, singing devotional songs. “This was a memorable event. ‘Mann Ki Baat’ inspires people and has now set a world record,” he stated.
Prasad Lad, an MLC from Mumbai, stated, “I am proud to have organized this program consistently across Maharashtra since its inception on October 3, 2014.”
Ajay Mahawar, a BJP MLA from Delhi’s Ghonda, mentioned the ‘One District One Product’ initiative, highlighting the mention of amla and previously, the makhana from Motihari. “Through such initiatives, the Prime Minister has defined ‘Vocal for Local’ for the country,” he said.
Delhi Government Minister Pankaj Singh commented on the Prime Minister’s focus on sports, emphasizing the need to recognize hidden talent in villages and towns. “When this talent emerges, it will bring glory to our nation. In recent years, many talented individuals and athletes have risen from these areas, thanks to the Prime Minister’s attention to this issue,” he concluded.
