BJP Leaders Call Lucknow Fire Incident a Tragedy, Praise Government Response

New Delhi, June 23: BJP leaders Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Uttar Pradesh Minister Narendra Kashyap, and Minister Hansraj Vishwakarma have responded to the recent fire incident in Lucknow, the TMC leadership crisis, and political developments related to ‘Operation Tiger’ in Maharashtra.

Regarding the fire incident in Lucknow, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi stated, “What happened in a building in Lucknow is very unfortunate. It is truly tragic. A large number of people have lost their lives, and many others are injured. I am reassured that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath personally visited the site and that the government has taken effective measures in this matter. Those responsible and negligent should face action.”

On the topic of ‘Operation Tiger’ in Maharashtra, the BJP leader remarked, “If you (Shiv Sena UBT) call your own people sellouts, how can things remain stable? They can either be sellouts or stable. The problem is that they want to label others as sellouts while trying to appear stable themselves. Therefore, these parties are trapped in a prison of confusion and contradiction, and only a significant force can manage them; no one else can.”

Minister Hansraj Vishwakarma expressed his sorrow over the Lucknow fire incident, saying, “This event is indeed very tragic for all of us. Words fall short to describe such a tragedy. I pray to God to give strength to the families of the children who lost their lives. The condition of the injured girl is now stable.”

Minister Narendra Kashyap commented on the fire at a coaching center in Aliganj, stating, “The fire incident that occurred yesterday is a significant and serious tragedy. It has claimed the lives of 15 innocent children. Every representative of the government is deeply saddened by this. The Deputy Chief Minister, who visited the site, could not hold back his tears. Understanding the gravity of the incident, the Chief Minister and the Defense Minister canceled their scheduled programs to reach the scene.”

On the turmoil within the TMC, Minister Kashyap noted, “The extent of Didi Mamata’s dictatorship and arbitrariness is gradually becoming evident as layers are peeled away one by one. Almost 20 of her MPs have left the party and formed a separate faction. Around 60 of her MLAs have also parted ways, creating a distinct group. Even a crucial chairmanship position has gone to someone else.”
