Etawah, May 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a two-day training campaign in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday. The event featured Asim Arun, the state’s Minister of Social Welfare. During the campaign, he targeted the Congress party, addressing issues of rising inflation and fuel prices while defending the government’s stance.
Minister Asim Arun stated that this training initiative is held in memory of the late Deendayal Upadhyaya. He explained that the campaign aims to connect new workers with the organization and enhance the skills of existing members. The training sessions focus on organizational procedures, the use of modern technology, and methods to communicate government schemes to the public.
He emphasized that the BJP trains its workers to engage in politics with discipline, restraint, and decorum.
Responding to remarks made by Congress state president Ajay Rai regarding the Prime Minister, Asim Arun noted a lack of training within the Congress party. He remarked that BJP workers maintain decorum in language and behavior, while Congress leaders increasingly use condemnable language. This, he argued, is why the public continues to reject Congress.
On the topic of rising fuel prices and inflation, the minister highlighted that India is among the fastest-growing economies in the world. He pointed out that global conditions and fluctuations in the international market have led to an increase in oil prices by nearly 40 percent. Nevertheless, he praised citizens for heeding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to reduce oil and electricity consumption, which has helped strengthen the foreign exchange reserves.
Meanwhile, in Jaunpur, a district-level training session was also held by the BJP. Ajit Prajapati, the district president, presided over the event, with Uttar Pradesh’s Minister of Water Power, Swatantra Dev Singh, as the chief guest. In his inaugural address, Singh stated that the BJP is not just a party that wins elections but a means to build the nation and restore cultural pride. He urged workers to engage with the public with humility and a spirit of service.
