Mumbai, August 22: Good news for those seeking employment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). AIIMS Patna has announced job openings for various positions, including Librarian, through an official notification on its website.
The vacancies include 1 position for Librarian Grade-I (Documentalist), 1 for Manager/Supervisor/Gas Officer, 1 for Laundry Manager, 2 for Manifold Technicians (Gas Steward), and 4 for Senior Plumbers.
The offline application process began on August 20 and will remain open until September 19, 30 days from the date of the advertisement. Candidates interested in these positions are advised to complete their registration within the specified timeframe.
Applicants for the Librarian Grade-I (Documentalist) position must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Services from a recognized institution. They should also have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputable library and be proficient in computer usage.
For the Manager/Supervisor/Gas Officer role, candidates need a degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years of experience in manifold supervision or repair in a medical setup, or a diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 7 years of relevant experience. Candidates must also be capable of working with medical gas management distribution lines, taps, cocks, and outlets.
The Laundry Manager position requires candidates to have completed their 12th grade or equivalent, along with a diploma or certificate in Dry Cleaning/Laundry Technology from a recognized institute. Additionally, candidates should have 12 years of experience in a reputable mechanized laundry.
For the Manifold Technician (Gas Steward) role, candidates must have completed their 12th grade in Science and possess 7 years of experience in a medical gas pipeline system in a government hospital with at least 200 beds, or have a trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering or an ITI diploma with 5 years of relevant experience.
Senior Plumber applicants should be officials from central/state governments, UT administrations, or central statutory/autonomous bodies who have served for 8 years in a plumber position with a grade of ₹1,900. The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 56 years, calculated as of the last date for form submission.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on the scrutiny of applications, merit list, document verification, and other stages. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹25,500 to ₹1,42,400, along with additional benefits and allowances.
