BJP Intensifies Organizational Activities in Upper Assam Ahead of Political Events

Guwahati, June 16: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has ramped up its organizational activities in Assam ahead of upcoming political events. A significant district-level meeting was held on Monday in the Charaideo district of Upper Assam.

The meeting was chaired by Assam BJP President Dilip Saikia, who addressed party workers and officials following the organizational session. Several senior party leaders and officials were also present at the meeting.

Speaking to reporters afterward, Saikia announced that the party has decided to strengthen its organizational structure through regular meetings at every level, from district committees to mandals, power centers, booths, and various cells and departments.

He stated that the party aims to hold meetings on a fixed day each month for district committees, mandals, power centers, booths, and departmental units to effectively convey the party’s message and programs to workers at all levels.

Saikia emphasized that the BJP leadership’s goal is to ensure seamless communication between the party’s top leadership and grassroots workers through a well-planned and disciplined organizational mechanism across Assam.

Referring to the completion of 12 years of the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the center, Saikia described this period as filled with trust, development, and public welfare.

He noted that Modi’s tenure has been dedicated to the principles of trust, development, and public welfare, which have transformed the governance landscape and instilled confidence among citizens.

Saikia also highlighted the BJP’s electoral success in Assam, stating that the party has remained in power in the state since 2016. He credited both former Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and current Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for advancing the development agenda in the state.

According to Saikia, the BJP will continue to expand its organizational reach and strengthen its connection with the public through ongoing grassroots engagement, while also promoting the achievements of both the central and Assam governments.
