
Lucknow, June 25: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled a new organizational team in Uttar Pradesh, marking a significant expansion of its structure. The announcement was made by state president Pankaj Chaudhary, who revealed a list that includes 19 vice-presidents, eight general secretaries, and 19 ministers among various appointments.
The party has aimed to maintain social and regional balance while assigning key responsibilities to new faces in preparation for the upcoming assembly elections. Notable leaders such as Suresh Rana, Satypal Saini, Dharmendra Singh, Priyanka Rawat, Archana Mishra, Pooja Pal, Rajesh Yadav, and Alok Gupta have been appointed as vice-presidents.
Additionally, Rampratap Singh Chouhan, Geeta Shakya, Abhijat Mishra, Upendra Rawat, and Sanjay Rai have been entrusted with the roles of general secretaries. The list of ministers includes Vijay Shivhare, Basant Tyagi, Shivbhushan Singh, Sahajanand Rai, Anil Yadav, Awadhesh Srivastava, Vijay Rajbhar, Rakesh Bind, Rahul Valmiki, and Akanksha Sonkar.
This list indicates that the BJP is making a concerted effort to provide extensive representation for backward classes, Dalits, women, and youth within its organization. The party has also announced regional presidents for six areas: Nabha Singh Nagar for the western region, Puran Lal Lodhi for the Braj region, Ram Kishore Sahu for the Kanpur region, Awadhesh Dwivedi for the Awadh region, Ashok Chaurasia for the Kashi region, and Vinod Rai for the Gorakhpur region.
To strengthen organizational structure, Bharat Dikshit has been appointed as office minister, while Atul Awasthi and Lakshman Singh will serve as co-ministers. Dinesh Pratap Singh has been named chief spokesperson, Manish Dikshit as state media coordinator, and Himanshu Raj Pandit as state social media coordinator.
The BJP has also announced state presidents for various fronts. Rohit Mishra will lead the youth front, Prakash Pal will head the backward front, Devendra Singh will oversee the farmers’ front, Ashok Rawat will lead the scheduled front, Saroj Kushwaha will head the women’s front, and Vidyabhushan Gond will lead the scheduled tribes front.
Political analysts believe that this new organizational team is part of the BJP’s strategy to activate its grassroots organization, strengthen its social base, and enhance its political influence in various sectors ahead of the assembly elections.
