New Delhi, September 23 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed new state representatives and co-representatives for various states, including Jammu and Kashmir. This announcement was made by BJP National President Nitin Naveen on Tuesday.
An official press release from the party’s central office provided detailed information about these appointments, which take effect immediately. The appointees will manage organizational responsibilities across nearly all states and Jammu and Kashmir. Naveen congratulated the newly appointed officials in a social media post.
He expressed confidence that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, these efforts would strengthen the party and help realize the collective dream of a developed India by 2047.
Notable appointments include Smriti Irani as the in-charge for both Chandigarh and Haryana, with Siddharth Shambhu as co-in-charge and Bhola Singh overseeing Haryana. Baijayant Jay Panda has been designated as the state in-charge for Maharashtra, supported by Amit Malviya, Sadanand Shet Tanawade, and Kamaljeet Sahrawat as co-in-charges.
In Uttar Pradesh, Vinod Tawde will serve as the state in-charge, while Jagdish Patel, Medha Kulkarni, Pradeep Verma, and Anant Ojha will act as co-in-charges. Sunil Bansal has been assigned responsibilities for both Telangana and West Bengal, with Abhay Patil and Rekha Sharma as co-in-charges for Telangana, and Lal Singh Arya, Rajendra Singh, and Pinky Kushwaha for West Bengal.
Other significant roles include Biplab Kumar Deb as in-charge of Madhya Pradesh, with Rekha Verma as co-in-charge. Ram Madhav will oversee Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand, Harish Dwivedi will manage Bihar and Karnataka, and Satish Poonia will be in charge of Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Mangal Pandey has been appointed as the in-charge for Assam, while Arvind Bhadauria will oversee Andhra Pradesh, with Vanathi Srinivasan serving as co-in-charge.
Naveen also appointed Ashish Usha Agarwal as the coordinator for the media department and Anil Baluni as the coordinator for the communications department.
This list includes responsibilities for smaller states, such as Andaman and Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Kerala, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Sikkim, and Tripura. Several leaders will hold dual or multiple responsibilities.
