Samastipur, June 24: Bihar’s Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, visited the renowned ’24 Avatar Dham’ at Chakoti Math in Khanpur block of Samastipur district on Wednesday. He participated in the Prana Pratishtha Mahotsav, which included a Vishnu Mahayagna and Sant Mahakumbh. During the event, he offered prayers to the 24 incarnations of Lord Mahavishnu and other deities, wishing for the state’s peace, prosperity, and welfare.
After taking part in the religious rituals accompanied by Vedic chants, the Chief Minister unveiled the plaque for the ’24 Avatar Dham’ established within the Chakoti Math complex. The event was attended by a large gathering of saints, devotees, and local representatives.
In his address, Chief Minister Chaudhary stated that the ’24 Avatar Dham’ at Chakoti Math will become a major center of faith, spirituality, and Sanatan tradition for devotees across the country in the future. He emphasized that religious and spiritual events play a crucial role in preserving and enhancing Indian culture. Such gatherings infuse positive energy into society and strengthen the spirit of social harmony, values, and nation-building.
He remarked that Bihar has long been a cradle of spiritual consciousness, saintly traditions, and cultural heritage. The state government is committed to the development and preservation of such religious and cultural sites, ensuring that future generations remain connected to their heritage and traditions.
Upon arriving at Chakoti Math, Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Ram Sevak Das Shastri Maharaj welcomed the Chief Minister with a large floral garland and a traditional headgear. Local MP Shambhavi Chaudhary, along with local representatives, devotees, and service personnel, presented him with a makhana garland, a ceremonial shawl, and bouquets.
The event also saw the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Health Minister Nishant, Transport Minister Damodar Rawat, MP Shambhavi Chaudhary, former minister and MLA Maheshwar Hazari, MLA Rajesh Kumar Singh, MLA Ashwamegh Devi, Darbhanga Division Commissioner Himanshu Kumar Rai, Darbhanga Range Deputy Inspector General of Police Manoj Tiwari, and Samastipur District Magistrate Roshan Kushwaha, among many officials, saints, and a large number of devotees.
