New Delhi, June 24: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has asserted that the opposition is unable to compete with him politically. As a result, they are resorting to creating fake videos using artificial intelligence to tarnish his image. He emphasized that the people of Punjab stand by him and will not be swayed by any fabricated content.
In response to allegations of manipulation related to a forensic report on his videos, Mann stated that low-quality political tactics have led to the release of these fake videos in recent days. He accused the opposition of raising religious issues to defame him when they fail on all fronts. He mentioned that a forensic lab conducted an investigation, and now the lab’s owner is being threatened to produce statements favorable to the opposition. Mann pointed out that the Akali Dal, BJP, and Congress have united against him.
“I am a man of the common people. I work for water, education, electricity, and jobs. They can attempt to defame me as much as they want, but politics should not stoop to such levels. I leave this entire matter to the people of Punjab. The truth is that these parties are now incapable of showing their faces in Punjab, politically or socially. Hence, they have decided to defame me on religious grounds, continuously creating and circulating new fake videos,” he stated.
Mann further asserted, “We had the forensic lab conduct an investigation, and our report is authentic. They conducted their own investigation, and their report is fabricated. Now they are trying to intimidate lab owners with the threat of FIRs to get their way. I stand sincerely for the interests of Punjab. Can anyone even dream of such lowly acts?”
He reiterated that public support is firmly with him, and the opposition has no issues left to discuss except for spreading false propaganda. The opposition is alarmed by the large crowds at his rallies, prompting them to attempt to discredit him through fake videos.
Referring to the opposition, Mann remarked that they are discussing putting up posters of him outside Gurudwaras, yet they do not mention Sukhbir Badal’s posters, who has admitted to charges of sacrilege.
He concluded by stating, “I stand sincerely for the interests of Punjab. Can anyone even dream of such lowly acts? The Akali Dal, Congress, and BJP are now limited to just artificial intelligence. They have formed a united front, but the public knows that Mann is always with them. Many people have contacted me regarding my viral video, confirming that it is fake and that I am not in it.”
