Jamui, August 16: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary announced plans for the construction of 100 new modern bus stands across the state on Sunday. These bus stands will feature all modern amenities aimed at improving road transport connectivity and strengthening urban infrastructure, thereby accelerating industrial development in the region.
This announcement was made during the unveiling of a statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Jamui district.
While paying tribute to Sardar Patel on his birth anniversary, Chief Minister Chaudhary unveiled the statue near the Bodhawa bus stand in Jhajha (Jamui) and emphasized that following his path is a collective duty for all.
In his tribute, the Chief Minister stated that Patel’s unwavering willpower, patriotism, and dedication to national unity will continue to inspire the people of the country.
Chaudhary further declared that more than 100 modern and state-of-the-art bus stands will be constructed to strengthen the transport system in the state.
Later, addressing the public, Chief Minister Chaudhary mentioned that the state government is continuously working towards realizing the dream of a prosperous Bihar, as envisioned by former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Referring to the developmental vision for Bihar and the nation, Samrat Chaudhary noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India and Nitish Kumar’s vision of a prosperous Bihar will guide his government’s direction.
He added that the state government is actively working in sectors such as electricity, transport, roads, education, health, and industry.
The Chief Minister also highlighted efforts to enhance health services across the state, including upgrading facilities in 36 district hospitals to accommodate surgical procedures.
He reiterated that the government’s goal is to ensure that the people of Bihar are healthy, educated, and prosperous.
