
Sitamarhi, September 12 (Daily Kiran) : In Sitamarhi, Bihar, a shocking incident unfolded on Saturday morning when the husband of a district council member was shot dead while on his morning walk. The attack occurred in the Kethariya village, located in the Dumra police jurisdiction. The victim has been identified as Baidyanath Mahto.
Reports indicate that Baidyanath Mahto was walking near his home when he was targeted by assailants on a motorcycle. Eyewitnesses claim that the attackers fired multiple shots, severely injuring him. He collapsed on the spot and succumbed to his injuries.
Following the shooting, the assailants fled the scene. News of the incident spread quickly, prompting a large gathering of locals at the site.
