Bihar CM Assures Womens Empowerment Under PM Modis Leadership

Patna, April 20: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary addressed the BJP’s Jan Aakrosh Women’s Conference on Monday, assuring the state’s women that there will be no compromise on the respect for women’s power.

CM Chaudhary stated that the NDA has always prioritized women’s empowerment and will continue to strive for it. The BJP organized a ‘Jan Aakrosh Women’s March’ in Patna to protest the non-passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill (131st Amendment) in the Lok Sabha. Following this, the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna hosted the women’s conference.

During the event, CM Chaudhary and BJP state president Sanjay Sarawagi encouraged female leaders. The Chief Minister assured attendees that PM Modi’s government will create laws for their benefit and ensure justice for women.

He highlighted that in 1977, when India’s population was 700 million, there were 543 Lok Sabha constituencies. Today, PM Narendra Modi aims to increase the number of seats for women by providing 33% reservation. If elections were held in Bihar under new delimitation, the number of female legislators would rise from 29 to at least 122. However, he criticized Congress and RJD for denying women their rights.

Chaudhary accused these parties of wanting only their family members in Parliament, mentioning Rahul Gandhi’s preference for his sister and Lalu Yadav’s family aspirations. He emphasized that PM Modi desires 272 women to enter the Lok Sabha, but this concern is overlooked by others.

He reiterated that the fight for women’s rights will continue under PM Modi’s leadership. The NDA government has worked to empower women through self-help groups. He remarked that this is the same country that worships goddesses like Durga, Saraswati, and Kali, yet women are being deceived today.

The Chief Minister assured that there will be no negligence in ensuring women’s safety. He vowed to track down anyone who creates a sense of insecurity for women, stating they would be found even in the depths of the earth.
