New Delhi, July 2: Belgium has clinched a spot in the Round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup 2026 after a thrilling match against Senegal, winning 3-2. The game, which ended in a 2-2 draw after 90 minutes, was decided in extra time, thanks to a decisive goal from Youri Tielemans.

Senegal started strong, dominating Belgium’s defense early in the match. They launched a series of attacks and found success in the 24th minute when Habib Diallo scored, giving Senegal a 1-0 lead. The first half saw no further goals, as Senegal’s robust defense kept Belgium at bay.
