Jodhpur, September 16 (Patrika English News). The Barmer–Rishikesh Express (14888) will be operated on a diverted route via Phalodi on September 18, the Jodhpur Railway Division informed on Tuesday.

Divisional Railway Manager Anurag Tripathi said the diversion is due to traffic block taken for the construction of a Road Under Bridge (RUB) between Bikaner and Lalgarh stations under North Western Railway. To ensure safe and smooth train operations, the train will be diverted for one trip.
On September 18, the train starting from Barmer will not follow its regular route via Merta Road–Nagaur–Nokha, but will instead run via Phalodi–Lalgarh, with an additional halt at Phalodi station. The diversion is valid for one day only.
Additionally, train 19719 Jaipur–Suratgarh Express, scheduled to depart from Jaipur on September 18, will be short-terminated at Bikaner. The service between Bikaner and Suratgarh will remain partially cancelled for that trip.
