Keshav Prasad Maurya Predicts BJP Victory in West Bengal Elections on May 4

Bardhaman, April 7: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has made a bold prediction regarding the upcoming West Bengal elections. He stated that the BJP will form the government on May 4, marking the end of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s tenure.

Maurya was in West Bengal on Tuesday, participating in nomination rallies to support BJP candidates in the Bardhaman South, Bardhaman North, Bhatar, Galsi, Khandaghosh, Raina, Jamalpur, and Memari assembly constituencies.

He emphasized that the people of Bengal will no longer endure the misgovernance of the TMC. “May 4 is the time for Mamata Banerjee to leave, and the BJP will take charge in Bengal,” he asserted.

Criticizing the West Bengal government, Maurya described it as a “murderous government” in the name of democracy, claiming it has crushed democratic rights. He assured that TMC goons will no longer be able to intimidate voters or loot polling booths. “Voters in Bengal will exercise their rights freely. A double-engine government will bring development to the state,” he added.

In response to Mamata Banerjee’s recent statements, Maurya suggested that the Chief Minister is anxious. “She knows that after the voting, when results are announced on May 4, ‘Didi’ will bid farewell to power in West Bengal forever. She has ruined the state over the past 15 years,” he remarked. To ensure peaceful elections, central forces are being deployed to counteract the intimidation tactics of TMC goons.

He reiterated that central forces are being stationed to protect voters and the public. “The people of Bengal love the BJP, and our goal is to bring Bengal into the mainstream of development,” he concluded.

It is noteworthy that on Tuesday, several BJP candidates filed their nominations across various assembly constituencies. Voting for the 294 assembly seats will occur in two phases, with results to be declared on May 4.
