
New Delhi, June 30: A significant opportunity has emerged for job seekers in the banking sector. The Bank of India (BOI) has officially announced the recruitment of 779 Credit Officer positions in the General Banking Operations (GBO) stream through a notification on its official website.
The vacancies include 677 positions in Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II), 61 in Middle Management Grade Scale-III (MMGS-III), and 41 in Senior Management Grade Scale-IV (SMGS-IV).
The online application process commenced on June 30 and will close on July 20. Eligible candidates interested in these positions can submit their application forms on the Bank of India’s official portal before the deadline.
Applicants must hold a graduation degree with at least 60% marks from a recognized institution or university, or possess professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, ICWAI, CS, or CFA. Additionally, candidates should have 3 to 7 years of experience in the banking or credit sector, depending on the scale.
The minimum age for applicants ranges from 25 to 32 years, while the maximum age is set between 32 and 45 years, calculated as of June 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection will be based on the verification of eligibility criteria, an online examination, a personal interview, and the final merit list. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹64,820 to ₹93,960 for MMGS-II, ₹85,920 to ₹1,05,280 for MMGS-III, and ₹1,02,300 to ₹1,20,940 for SMGS-IV.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹850 for general and other categories, and ₹175 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
