Mumbai, March 28: On Friday, violence erupted between two communities during the Ram Navami procession in parts of Murshidabad district, West Bengal. Over a dozen individuals sustained injuries in the clashes. In response, police have heightened security in the affected areas of Jangipur and Raghunathganj.
The incident has sparked outrage among saints from Ayodhya, who have publicly criticized the Mamata Banerjee government. Mahamandaleshwar Vishnu Das condemned the stone-pelting incident during the procession. In an exclusive interview, he stated, “Mamata Banerjee nurtures extremist elements and attempts to appease one community. However, her power is waning because she allowed stones to be thrown at our Lord Ram’s procession. She has created a gang whose sole purpose is to incite violence and harm our community. People like Mamata want to introduce Sharia law while living in India.”
He added, “Conditions in West Bengal resemble those in Bangladesh, where Hindus have faced oppression. The Mamata government plays a significant role in this. However, the time has come for Hindus and Sanatanis in the state to respond and remove her from power.”
Meanwhile, Jagadguru Paramahamsa Acharya described the events of Ram Navami in West Bengal as distressing. He urged the central government to conduct a swift and impartial investigation into the matter and take strict action against the perpetrators. He stated, “The central government needs to impose President’s Rule in West Bengal as the situation has spiraled out of control. Mamata Banerjee is collaborating with terrorists to separate West Bengal from India. The state is following in the footsteps of Bangladesh, where attempts are being made to harm Hindus. If the situation is not managed, it could deteriorate further.”
Jagadguru Paramahamsa Acharya also accused the Bengal police of acting on the government’s and terrorists’ orders, claiming that Hindus do not receive justice in any matter.
