Aviation Experts Praise Captain Smita Machhars Heroism in Flight Emergency

New Delhi, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Leaders and aviation specialists have lauded Captain Smita Machhar for her extraordinary bravery in saving the lives of passengers aboard a Fly Dubai flight. During a video call with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aviation expert Subhash Goyal praised her courage and mental resilience.

Speaking to a news agency, Goyal noted that the recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa played a role in aiding the passengers. He emphasized that belief in Hanuman provides strength, whether viewed as mental, spiritual, or rooted in faith. This conviction empowered Captain Machhar to persist despite injuries.

Goyal described her as a real-life hero, contrasting her actions with fictional heroes depicted in films. He pointed out that while those characters are imaginary, Smita showcased remarkable bravery in a genuine crisis.

He also acknowledged the contributions of some passengers, including Israeli individuals who utilized their military training to assist in elevating the aircraft, thereby helping it gain altitude and speed.

RJD spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav also commended Captain Machhar’s courage. He stated that her actions not only ensured the safety of the passengers but also brought pride to the entire nation.

Yadav asserted that there should be no political debate regarding this matter, emphasizing that millions of Indians take pride in Captain Machhar’s heroism.

On another note, regarding the voter list issue, Yadav stated that names of voters who were omitted would be reinstated. He alleged that names were previously removed in Bihar and are now being added back, suggesting that such actions may recur after elections.

He characterized the opposition’s protests as a fight to preserve democracy, accusing authorities of exerting undue pressure on constitutional institutions and infringing upon voters’ rights. Yadav claimed that many voters had been removed from the rolls because they were unlikely to support the BJP.
