Raipur, May 25: Arun Saw, the Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, has accused Rahul Gandhi of spreading rumors across the country. He stated that the Congress party is shirking its responsibilities and misleading the public.
In a conversation with reporters, Saw claimed that Rahul Gandhi has become one of the main leaders disseminating misinformation in India. He criticized Gandhi for failing to fulfill his duties as the leader of the opposition and for not maintaining the dignity of that position.
Saw emphasized that the opposition should address the public’s issues seriously. However, he noted that Rahul Gandhi continues to spread misleading information. He asserted that the public has become aware and understands which government can drive development.
Regarding the appointment of Ratan U. Kelkar as the secretary to Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan, Saw expressed his views. He mentioned that some leaders make decisions solely based on their political interests and convenience. He labeled such leaders as opportunistic and stressed the need for principles and moral values in politics.
In response to Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel’s statements, Saw advised him to focus on his party’s situation. He pointed out that the Congress party is grappling with internal strife and leadership conflicts. Different factions within the party are active, with some leaders wanting to send their supporters to Delhi while others are searching for a new chief minister. Saw insisted that Congress should resolve its internal disputes first.
Targeting DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin, Saw remarked that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has become the world’s largest political party due to the hard work of its workers and strong leadership. He credited the party’s success to the dedication and sacrifices of multiple generations, stating that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, the BJP continues to grow stronger.
