Mendhar, September 4 (Daily Kiran) : In a rapid rescue operation, army personnel saved an unconscious teenage girl found in Mendhar Nala near the Balnoi area of the Mendhar region. The girl, believed to be between 14 and 16 years old, was discovered by soldiers who promptly initiated the rescue.
After safely extracting her, the army informed the Integrated Check Post (ICP) in Manokot. Parvez Ali, an officer at the ICP, quickly arrived at the scene and arranged for the girl to be transported to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) in Mendhar for medical treatment.
Local police also arrived to assist in the rescue efforts. As of now, the girl’s identity and the circumstances surrounding her unconscious state remain unknown.
Residents praised the quick actions of both the army and the Jammu and Kashmir police. They expressed gratitude for the timely assistance and humanitarian support provided by the security forces.
Community members noted that the army has consistently stood by the people of the Pir Panjal region, especially during difficult and challenging situations. They emphasized that the presence of the army in emergencies reflects their ongoing commitment to the safety and well-being of the local population.
The residents also commended the Jammu and Kashmir police for their immediate response, ensuring that the rescued girl received prompt medical attention without delay.
