
New Delhi, August 15: A golden opportunity is on the horizon for youth aspiring for government jobs. The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team, also known as CERT-In or ICERT, has officially announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for a total of 133 Scientist ‘B’ positions based on various subjects.
Among the 133 vacancies, 83 are in Computer Science and Information Technology (CS), 25 in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA), and 25 in Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC).
The online application process commenced on July 14, and the last date to apply is set for August 17. Candidates who have not yet submitted their applications are advised to complete their registration process successfully by 5:30 PM on the deadline date through the official ICERT website.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering or technology field from a recognized institution or university (minimum four-year degree course) or a Master’s degree in Science or a Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA). Additionally, candidates must have a valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score in the relevant subject code.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 30 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on shortlisting through valid GATE scores, followed by personal interviews and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month, according to the 7th CPC pay matrix under Pay Level 10.
