Mumbai, August 11: Popular television actor Angad Haseeja is currently seen in the TV serial ‘Tumse Tum Tak.’ In a recent interview, he shared that his journey into acting was inspired by his mother.
The actor revealed, “I moved from Punjab to Bombay because my mother wanted me to become an actor. I had no interest in acting, but my mother was determined, so I came to Bombay at her urging.”
He mentioned that his mother had complete faith in his abilities. “I had done some work in Punjab, and when I arrived in Bombay, I auditioned for the first time. I got selected, and that’s how my journey began. This journey has taught me a lot. I have made great friends and have been fortunate to work with some excellent directors who have taught me so much as an actor.”
He added, “I have learned a great deal in this industry and met some amazing people. I have had great experiences with every show, and I feel very blessed.”
Currently, Angad is featured in the TV show ‘Tumse Tum Tak,’ where he discussed his friendship with the show’s producer, Prateek Sharma. “Prateek Sharma is a good friend of mine. He informed me that I have a very interesting entry in the show and wants me to reprise the character of Aalkar. I was surprised because I had said goodbye to Aalkar many years ago. It’s challenging to play the same character again, especially after fifteen to eighteen years, but this character is very close to my heart. It was my first show and the first role that people loved. Even today, people call me Aalkar.”
He continued, “Prateek told me he wanted me to keep the name Aalkar and play that character in many ways. His family is also very connected to Aalkar. At that time, Prateek was a well-known name on the channel, so everything felt connected. When he offered me this role, I was very excited. As an actor, it’s essential to do something different, and playing this kind of character is very challenging. Every actor wants to portray different roles, so I was thrilled when he offered me this role.”
