Mumbai, June 4: A significant organizational shift occurred in Maharashtra’s political landscape on Wednesday. Anand Paranjape, a former MP who recently left the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) to join Shiv Sena, has been appointed as the party’s state organization chief. This appointment is for a duration of one year.
According to the appointment letter issued by Shiv Sena, this decision aligns with the vision of party founder Balasaheb Thackeray and the directives of key leader and Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Paranjape has been tasked with strengthening the organization in Maharashtra and expanding the party’s reach.
The letter states that Paranjape will work to disseminate the core principles of Hindutva upheld by Shiv Sena and the teachings of the late leader Anand Dighe to the masses. He is also expected to unite all workers and leaders to further fortify the organization.
The party is confident that Paranjape will play a crucial role in enhancing Shiv Sena’s grassroots support in Maharashtra, leveraging his political experience and organizational skills. His appointment comes at a time when the Shinde faction of Shiv Sena is actively working to reinforce its organizational structure across the state.
The appointment letter bears the signature of Shiv Sena Secretary Sanjay Pushpalata Bhau Rao More. It extends best wishes to Paranjape while urging him to work diligently for the party’s ideology and organizational strength.
Political analysts believe that assigning this responsibility to the experienced leader from NCP is part of the Shinde faction’s strategy for organizational expansion. His appointment is expected to provide new vigor to the party’s organizational efforts in various regions of Maharashtra.
