Patna, September 3: The appointment of Air Marshal (Retired) Jitendra Mishra as the CEO of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has been welcomed across Bihar and Delhi. Following the recent controversy surrounding donations, this decision is seen as a significant step towards transparency for the Ram Temple Trust.
Bihar government minister Ram Kripal Yadav stated, “Since the donation theft issue emerged, the Ram Temple has been mired in controversies. Appointing an experienced individual to manage the temple is commendable. Jitendra Mishra, a senior military officer, played a crucial role in Operation Sindoor, and it is good that he will now oversee the temple’s administration.”
JDU legislator Shyam Rajak commented, “When irregularities occur, it is essential to replace individuals and bring in new leadership. Hence, the appointment of a new CEO has been made. Jitendra Mishra is an honest officer who contributed to Operation Sindoor. His capabilities make him a suitable choice for CEO. This is a positive step that should be appreciated, and everything must be monitored closely.”
In Delhi, BJP spokesperson R.P. Singh congratulated Air Marshal Mishra, saying, “He played a vital role in Operation Sindoor. We expect him to handle this new position with the same dedication and bring transparency to the Trust.”
The donation theft incident had raised questions about the Trust’s operations, leading the opposition to criticize it. Appointing a retired Air Marshal, known for his discipline and rigor, is viewed as an effort to restore the Trust’s image.
