New Delhi, February 19: Anamika Jain Amber, a poetess known for captivating hearts with her verses and hymns, has voiced her opinions on various pressing issues, including the recent controversy between Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding Sanatan Dharma.

Amber emphasized the need for awareness among women and girls in the country about their religion and nation. She stated, “It is crucial for the youth, especially our daughters, to understand Sanatan Dharma.” She further mentioned that those who promote Sanatan Dharma receive support from across the nation, and she stands with them.

Commenting on the slogan “Hum Do Hamare Teen,” Amber remarked, “While it is essential to promote Sanatan Dharma, there should also be a wave of awakening Hinduism in our hearts. I believe no one should oppose this, especially considering the presence of anti-national elements in our country. We must support those who advocate for religion and the nation.”

Regarding the altercation at the Magh Mela between Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand and the Prayagraj administration, Amber stated, “I previously mentioned that it is important for people to know what transpired. Our Chief Minister addressed this issue. I respect saints and sadhus deeply, and saffron is honored in our country. However, if there is a possibility of chaos, it is right to prevent it. The Chief Minister made this request to avoid any untoward incidents, but Shankaracharya took it personally. We need to reflect on what is right and what is wrong.”

Supporting the appeal to close liquor shops in Delhi during Ramadan, Amber said, “This is a positive step. I believe this should be viewed uniformly across the country. Excess of anything is harmful. If something operates within limits and adheres to licensing regulations, it should function within that framework.”
