Gandhinagar, May 27: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will embark on a two-day visit to Gujarat on May 28-29. During this trip, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for several development projects in the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency and Ahmedabad, along with conducting organizational and review meetings.
Shah will kick off his schedule on May 28 with a series of development-related events at various locations. He is set to inaugurate the newly constructed Zedwa Lake developed under the CSR fund of Anandam Family in Vadser. Additionally, he will open newly established libraries in Jalandhar and Sardhav, which are part of Toyota Kirloskar Motors Limited’s CSR initiatives.
In Khataraj, he will lay the foundation stone for lake beautification works initiated by the Arvind Foundation and inaugurate a newly constructed Gram Panchayat office.
Other scheduled events include the inauguration of the P.E. Center Primary School in Moti Bhoyan, along with laying the foundation stone and inaugurating various development works in Sonipur village, Kalol, and Gandhinagar North assembly areas.
During his visit to Sonipur, Shah will have lunch at the residence of former Sarpanch and senior BJP worker Gandaji Thakor. Following this, a meeting of senior BJP officials will be held at the state party headquarters, ‘Shri Kamalam,’ in his presence.
He will also inaugurate the newly constructed CBSE regional office in the Chandkheda area of Ahmedabad and the newly built hostel building at the Umiya Dham complex in Sola.
In Ahmedabad, the newly constructed ‘Bharat Mata’ statue in New Vadodara, built by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, will also be inaugurated.
After these events, a review meeting on preparations for the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, and World Police and Fire Games will be chaired by Shah at the Circuit House.
Following the completion of the scheduled events on May 28, he is expected to visit Bhuj in Kutch. This visit will continue on May 29, including additional events as part of the two-day program held across Gujarat.
