Allegations of Fund Misuse Against Swami Avimukteshwaranand in Ayodhya

Ayodhya, June 29: Govindanand Saraswati has accused Swami Avimukteshwaranand of illegally collecting donations in the name of the Ram Temple, despite the establishment of a trust. He claims that the funds have been misappropriated. Saraswati stated that he has lodged complaints with the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and the SIT, demanding the filing of an FIR, recovery of funds, and seizure of the alleged assets.

In an interview with a news agency, Govindanand Saraswati remarked, “Swami Avimukteshwaranand is among those collecting donations for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He has gathered money and gold from a thousand villages. My guru won a case in the Supreme Court. During my guru’s time, millions were donated. After my guru’s passing, Avimukteshwaranand allegedly stole the money and gold.”

Saraswati further asserted, “The SIT is filing FIRs against eight individuals in the Ram Temple case for recovery. Similarly, an FIR should be filed against Avimukteshwaranand, as he possesses assets belonging to Lord Ram. These assets should be seized and dedicated to the temple.”

Meanwhile, Sadhana Mishra, sister-in-law of Ramashankar Mishra, who is accused of embezzling donations for the temple, has labeled the allegations against him as false. She stated that the police visited their home, questioned the family, and collected documents. She claims her brother-in-law has been framed and has been living separately for the past two and a half years.

Sadhana Mishra said, “A police team came today and questioned them. Ramashankar has been counting money at the Ram Temple for the past six years. The police took his bank passbook, Aadhaar card, and other documents. Ramashankar has been living separately for two and a half years. My brother-in-law cannot commit theft.”
