Akhilesh Yadav Criticizes Government Over Fuel Crisis: Cameras Dont Lie

Lucknow, March 27: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has asserted that long queues are forming outside petrol pumps and gas agencies. “Cameras never lie,” he stated. These modern-day eyes capture the reality of the situation.

During a media interaction in Lucknow regarding the shortage of LPG and petrol-diesel, Yadav urged media friends to recognize that their cameras cannot fabricate the truth. He encouraged them to visit any petrol pump or gas agency and witness the long lines of people waiting overnight for fuel.

Yadav criticized Prime Minister Modi for discussing COVID-like conditions in Parliament while party leaders spread falsehoods. He insisted that both the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh should speak the truth. “The public is naive. They can make alternative arrangements for cooking, but do not deceive them,” he emphasized.

Without naming him directly, Yadav took a jab at Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, suggesting that in today’s era, Deputy Chief Ministers could act as delivery boys. He proposed that Maurya should publicly share his mobile number for anyone facing difficulties to contact him.

Furthermore, Yadav accused the BJP and the Deputy Chief Minister of fuel hoarding, despite their claims of no shortage of petrol, diesel, or gas. He expressed hope that the Deputy Chief Minister would ensure everyone receives their gas cylinders.

In a press conference on Thursday, Yadav mentioned that due to the gas crisis, he has arranged for two clay stoves at his home. In response, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that if Yadav is facing a cylinder shortage, he should inform them, and they would send one over.
