BJP Leader Promises Justice in Ashok Kharat Case, Urges Political Unity

Nandurbar, April 3: The political discourse surrounding the high-profile Ashok Kharat, also known as ‘Bhodu Baba’, case in Maharashtra has intensified. BJP leader Vijay Chaudhary characterized the situation as highly sensitive, emphasizing that politics should not interfere. He assured that victims will receive justice under all circumstances.

Chaudhary stated that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is closely monitoring the situation. The Chief Minister has instructed law enforcement to take stringent action and ensure that no perpetrators escape punishment.

He remarked, “Our priority is to deliver justice to the women who have suffered injustice, been deceived, and trapped. I am confident they will receive justice.”

Chaudhary criticized some opposition leaders for politicizing this sensitive issue and misleading the public. He urged everyone to stand united with the victims rather than creating a divisive atmosphere for political gain.

It is noteworthy that the Ashok Kharat case is linked to a significant criminal incident in Nashik. Kharat later assumed the roles of ‘Baba’ and astrologer. He faces serious allegations, including sexual assault and extortion against multiple women, which have propelled the case into the spotlight.

This situation has raised numerous questions about law and order and women’s safety in the state. Currently, police investigations are ongoing, and the government has assured strict action will be taken.

Vijay Chaudhary serves as the Maharashtra BJP’s state general secretary. He is also the organizational minister for North Maharashtra and oversees the BJP headquarters in Maharashtra. He hails from Nandurbar district, where he has previously held the position of district president.
