AIMIM Leader Stabbed to Death in Hyderabads Falaknuma Area

Hyderabad, August 31: An All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader was fatally stabbed late Sunday night in the Falaknuma area of Hyderabad. The motive behind the murder remains unclear, and police are currently investigating the incident.

Initial reports indicate that the AIMIM leader was attacked in the Vattepally locality of the Falaknuma police jurisdiction. A group of five to six assailants launched a deadly attack on the leader, surrounding him near the Almas Hotel and assaulting him with knives and sickles.

The leader sustained multiple stab wounds, leaving him critically injured. Following the attack, the assailants fled the scene. It is reported that he lay on the road for approximately 15 minutes before being transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Mahboob Ali. Upon receiving news of the attack, the Falaknuma police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. Police officials stated that three special teams have been formed to apprehend the suspects. The motive for the murder has not yet been determined.

Local AIMIM MLA Mohammad Mubeen visited the grieving family and expressed his condolences. He wrote on social media, “I am deeply saddened and shocked by the brutal murder of Mahboob Ali, who was attacked with deadly weapons by unidentified assailants in Vattepally.”

The MLA met with police officials at the station, demanding swift and strict action against those responsible for this crime. He urged the Telangana government and Hyderabad police to increase patrols, clamp down on anti-social elements, and take decisive action against the rising threats of drugs and violent crimes to ensure the safety of all citizens.
