AIMIM Leader Akhtarul Iman Criticizes BJP for Governance Failures

Mumbai, June 1: Akhtarul Iman, the Bihar state president of AIMIM and a sitting MLA, launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday. He accused the party of being intoxicated by power.

Speaking about the situation in the Seemanchal region, Iman highlighted the severe lack of basic amenities. He pointed out that many areas still lack 100% mobile connectivity, electricity is not available in every household, and numerous villages do not have proper electricity supply. Additionally, he noted that not all families have received cooking gas connections. He questioned how significant development claims could be made when fundamental facilities are still lacking.

Iman also alleged that there have been discrepancies in surveys conducted regarding the development of Seemanchal. According to him, some officials and observers have prepared incorrect data under pressure. He stated that many individuals have admitted that false reports were generated due to orders from above, which could harm the development and future of the entire region.

He emphasized that the BJP is acting contrary to its slogan of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” Iman criticized the treatment of opposition leaders and former chief ministers in West Bengal, describing it as political vendetta.

Furthermore, Iman strongly opposed the labeling of the Sher Shahabadi community as outsiders. He asserted that this community is a vital part of Seemanchal’s social and economic structure. He noted their significant contributions to agriculture and trade, stating that various communities have played a role in advancing farming and commerce in Seemanchal. He condemned the notion of labeling anyone as an outsider.

Iman warned that targeting any community could negatively impact others and disrupt social harmony. He urged everyone to unite and strengthen their bonds of brotherhood.
