Jammu, April 14: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jammu has announced a significant recruitment opportunity for those aspiring to work in the medical field. A total of 78 positions for Senior Resident/Demonstrator have been officially notified.
The online application process commenced on April 1 and will close on April 15. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to submit their registration forms on the official website by 5 PM on Wednesday or earlier.
The available positions include 8 in Anesthesiology; 1 each in Anatomy, Cardiology, Dermatology, ENT, Family Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Toxicology, Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Pathology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, Radiotherapy, Surgical Gastroenterology, Transfusion Medicine, and Blood Bank; 2 each in Burns and Plastic Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, and Physiology; 3 in Microbiology; 4 each in Pediatric Surgery and Radiology (Radio-Diagnosis); 5 each in Community Medicine and General Medicine; 6 each in General Surgery and Hospital Administration; and 9 in Trauma-Emergency Medicine.
Candidates must possess a relevant postgraduate medical degree, MSc, or PhD from a recognized institution. Additionally, they should meet other eligibility criteria and have the required years of experience.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 45 years, calculated as of April 15. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection will be based on merit, including shortlisting, interviews, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹67,700, along with additional benefits and allowances.
Interviews will be held at the ‘Board Room, Academic Block, AIIMS Vijaypur Jammu, 181134’ from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Candidates should note that entry will close at 11:30 AM, and no late admissions will be permitted. The interview dates will be announced soon.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the specified application fee online, which is ₹1,500 for General/OBC candidates and ₹1,000 for SC/ST/EWS candidates. Candidates with disabilities are exempt from the registration fee.

Then, register and log in. Fill in all required information in the form and upload the necessary documents. After paying the registration fee, submit the form.
