Jammu, April 14: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jammu has announced an excellent opportunity for those aspiring to work in the medical field. The institute has released an official notification for the recruitment of 78 Senior Resident/Demonstrator positions.
The online application process began on April 1 and will close on April 15. Eligible candidates are advised to submit their registration forms on the official website by 5 PM on the deadline day.
The available positions include 8 in Anesthesiology; 1 each in Anatomy, Cardiology, Dermatology, ENT, Family Medicine, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Pathology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, Radiotherapy, Surgical Gastroenterology, Transfusion Medicine, and Blood Bank; 2 each in Burns and Plastic Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, and Physiology; 3 in Microbiology; 4 each in Pediatric Surgery and Radiology (Radio-Diagnosis); 5 each in Community Medicine and General Medicine; 6 each in General Surgery and Hospital Administration; and 9 in Trauma-Emergency Medicine.
Candidates must hold a relevant postgraduate medical degree, MSc, or PhD from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates must meet other eligibility criteria and possess the required years of experience.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 45 years, calculated as of April 15. Relaxation in the age limit will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per regulations.
Selection will be based on merit, including shortlisting, interviews, and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹67,700, along with additional benefits and allowances.
Interviews will be conducted at the ‘Board Room, Academic Block, AIIMS Vijaypur Jammu, 181134’ from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Candidates should note that entry will close at 11:30 AM, and no late arrivals will be permitted. The interview dates will be announced soon.
