Adani Group Invests Over ₹1.5 Lakh Crore in Hard Infrastructure for FY26

Ahmedabad, June 24: The Adani Group has made a record investment of over ₹1.5 lakh crore in hard infrastructure for the fiscal year 2026. This announcement was made by Chairman Gautam Adani during the 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Wednesday.

Addressing shareholders, Gautam Adani highlighted that this investment accounted for more than 30 percent of the total new investments made by the private sector in FY26.

He stated, “For us, this is not just a financial figure; it is a testament of trust. There can be no greater proof of our commitment to nation-building than the scale of our investment in infrastructure that will propel India into its next chapter.”

Gautam Adani further emphasized that certain years in a group’s history hold significance beyond mere milestones. These years prove decisive, showcasing one’s resolve and ability to face challenges. They distinguish those who wait for a clear picture from those who continue to build amidst ups and downs.

For the Adani Group, FY26 was one such pivotal year.

The Chairman remarked, “This was a year where the world appeared more divided. Complex models of energy security returned to the center of national strategy, and technology became an integral part of the nation’s sovereignty. Despite these challenges, your Adani Group remained steadfast in the belief that India’s future cannot wait.”

Gautam Adani noted, “This progress did not come under easy circumstances. It occurred amidst significant scrutiny. Yet, we did not bend or pause, as our identity is not defined by the noise around us, but by how we respond to it. It is not the magnitude of the challenge that matters, but the clarity of our purpose. We focus on nation-building, in which we deeply believe, rather than on criticism.”

An example of this belief was the ₹25,000 crore rights issue that took place earlier this year.

Gautam Adani concluded, “This was not merely an event for raising capital. I viewed it as a referendum on our credibility. It was one of the largest rights issues in the history of India’s corporate sector, and your response was very clear. At a time when some tried to sow doubt, you responded with full confidence, participated actively, and gave us the mandate to continue aiding in the nation’s development.”
