With this in mind, Abhijeet Ghoshal has launched his new track, ‘Shiv Tandav Club Mix,’ aiming to create a bridge between devotion and contemporary music, coinciding with the monthly Shivratri celebration.
Abhijeet Ghoshal, who gained fame from the popular singing platform ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa,’ announced his latest track. This presentation retains the spirit of the traditional ‘Shiv Tandav’ while introducing it in a fresh style. Through this track, he aims to keep the younger generation engaged with devotional music.
Ghoshal shared, “My connection with this composition goes back a long way. I first worked on ‘Shiv Tandav’ in the 11th grade. The experience I had then stayed with me for a long time. Over time, I experimented with it, and this new version is the next step in that journey. It’s not just a new form of a song, but also a part of my thought process.”
He added, “The goal behind creating this new track is to keep people engaged until the end. I believe that while many connect with devotional songs initially, their attention often wanes over time. Keeping this challenge in mind, I aimed to create music that maintains energy and captivates the listener throughout.”
The ‘Shiv Tandav Club Mix’ features upbeat rhythms and modern music elements. Ghoshal emphasized, “I did not compromise on the essence of the original composition; instead, I presented it in a way that resonates with today’s audience. I believe that devotional music inherently possesses deep energy; it just needs to be showcased in a new light.”
Previously, Ghoshal garnered attention for his ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ club mix, which received widespread acclaim. The positive feedback from that project inspired him to explore new creative avenues.
