A Dark Chapter in History: Emergency Imposed by Indira Gandhi, Says Ramkripal Yadav

Patna, June 25: Bihar government minister Ramkripal Yadav has made significant remarks regarding Constitution Martyr Day, JP Nadda’s visit to Patna, and the Bharat Tiwari encounter. He stated that today marks a dark chapter in history, as it was on this day that the Emergency was forcibly imposed on the people.

On Constitution Martyr Day, Ramkripal Yadav expressed in an interview, “Today is a black day in history. On this day, Indira Gandhi of the Congress party crossed all limits and imposed the Emergency, stripping people of their democratic rights. Therefore, the entire nation is observing a black day under the leadership of the BJP. A black day is also being observed at Gyan Bhawan in Patna, where JP Nadda will be present.”

Regarding JP Nadda’s visit, Ramkripal stated, “Health Minister Nadda will participate in several programs. He has a special connection to Patna, as he was born and educated here before establishing himself in his home state of Himachal.”

On the Bharat Tiwari encounter, the Bihar minister mentioned, “Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has decided to conduct a judicial inquiry into this matter during the cabinet meeting. A judicial investigation will take place, and those involved will face punishment.”

In response to Tejashwi Yadav’s comments about a fake encounter, Ramkripal said, “No one takes Tejashwi Yadav’s statements seriously. As he is in the opposition, he will always have something to say. Our government has maintained law and order. Under Samrat Chaudhary’s leadership, the rule of law is being established in Bihar. Those who commit crimes will face consequences. The rule of law has been established, is present, and will continue.”

Earlier, Minister Ramkripal Yadav stated that the government has swiftly initiated action in the Bharat Tiwari encounter case, and judicial inquiries have already been ordered. He also noted that the truth will emerge after the investigation, leading to strict action against the guilty. Regarding the FIRs filed against police officials, he mentioned that the roles of the SDPO and the station officer were found suspicious, which led to their FIRs.
