Varanasi, October 6 (Daily Kiran) : A significant bike rally, dubbed the “Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra,” is set to conclude in Varanasi on October 7, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. The journey commenced from his birthplace, Vadnagar, and includes 500 participants dedicated to this initiative.
The culmination event will take place at Jagatpur Inter College grounds in Rohania, where prominent leaders such as BJP National President Nitin Naveen, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and BJP state president Pankaj Chaudhary are expected to address a large gathering around 2:30 PM.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will arrive in Varanasi on the same day. He plans to visit the Rudraksh Convention Center for the ‘Namo Book Fest, Kashi Edition,’ before joining the public meeting. Following this, he will pay his respects at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Baba Kal Bhairav, the guardian deity of Kashi.
This will mark Nitin Naveen’s first public meeting in Kashi, and preparations by BJP officials and workers are in full swing to ensure a historic event. There is a strong call for community participation to welcome the bikers in a manner befitting the city’s dignity.
As per BJP Kashi region president Ashok Chaurasia, the bikers will arrive at the Sampurnanand Sanskrit University grounds by bus at 9 AM. A welcoming ceremony is planned, where they will be honored with tilak, shawls, and flower bouquets. Between 10 and 11 AM, participants will listen to a live address from Prime Minister Modi via LED screens.
After the ceremony, the bikers will travel by bus to Maidagin and then proceed on foot to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The procession will feature 22 pots filled with water from Gujarat’s rivers and the Ganges, accompanied by 51 women.
The event is expected to draw around 800 attendees, including BJP officials, representatives, and the bikers. A ritual of worship and water offering will take place at the temple for about an hour before they return to participate in the BJP meeting at Jagatpur Inter College.
In the next phase of their journey, the bikers will depart for Ayodhya on the morning of October 8, before continuing to Delhi and their respective destinations.
