
Rajouri, August 13: A remarkable display of patriotism unfolded in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, as a young man climbed a 250-foot mobile network tower to proudly hoist the national flag. This daring act quickly captured the attention of local residents, who gathered to witness the dramatic scene. Upon learning of the incident, police also arrived at the location.
Once at the top, the young man waved the flag before carefully descending. His courageous act became the center of attraction, with locals praising his spirit of patriotism. However, police issued a warning, emphasizing the dangers of climbing such a tall tower, which could have resulted in serious injury or worse. Fortunately, he returned safely without any injuries.
This incident has sparked discussions in the area, reflecting the deep emotions associated with the national flag while also highlighting the importance of safety. Meanwhile, ahead of Independence Day, the famous tourist destination Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir is adorned in patriotic colors. A 110-foot tall flag installed there has become a major attraction for tourists, who are capturing photos and videos with the flag.
Visitors from various parts of the country have expressed that witnessing such a tall flag amidst Gulmarg’s natural beauty is a memorable experience. Shobhan Das, a tourist from Tripura, shared that this is his first visit to Jammu and Kashmir, and he is thrilled to see the 110-foot flag. He encouraged people from other regions to visit Kashmir, emphasizing that experiencing the flag up close is unique. Tourists are eagerly anticipating the sight of the flag waving on Independence Day.
Srinivas Rao, visiting from Hyderabad, also praised the massive flag and the security arrangements. He noted that seeing the flag strengthened his sense of patriotism. Rao expressed that he feels safe while exploring Kashmir and is enjoying the region’s beauty.
